How do I get a library card?

Residents of Chestermere, Langdon, Indus and Rockyview County are eligible for library membership. Fill out an application at the Library, and our friendly staff will prepare cards for every member of your household. Family memberships are $27, senior memberships are $7. We accept cash, credit, and debit. 

How do I view my account online?

Visit the library catalogue at TRACpac. Log in with the barcode number from your library card and your PIN. 

What is my PIN/PASSWORD?

Your default PIN/PASSWORD is the last four digits of your phone number. If you are unsure of your PIN/PASSWORD or would like to reset it, contact us. 

How do I search for library items?

Search for books, eBooks, audiobooks, DVDs, video games, and more using the online catalogue TRACpac.

How do I place a hold?

Place holds in person, by phone, or online.

How do I renew my borrowed items?

Renew items in person, by phone, or online.

What happens if I return library items past the due date?

Please return your items on time to avoid late fines. Our fines are as follows:

  • Adult items $0.25 per day per item
  • Videogames $0.25 per day per item 
  • Teen items $0.20 per day per item
  • Children's items $0.10 per day per item
How long can I keep my items?
  • Books: 3 weeks 
  • Audiobooks: 3 weeks 
  • Music CDs: 3 weeks
  • Magazines: 1 week
  • DVDs: 1 week
  • Videogames: 1 week
