Training runs are Saturday at 9:30 AM and Monday at 6:00PM

We are looking for volunteers in grades 6-12 to help at the library once or twice a month. 

We need volunteers who are good with children, imaginative, and enthusiastic to help with monthly programming for elementary school children.
Duties will include assisting with crafts, reading stories, and setting up and taking down activities.
We are offering a new drop-in program for kids in Grades 1-5 on Tuesday nights from 4-5 p.m. Activities will include Wii gaming, board games, movies and crafts.

Program makes popular eBook and audiobook available to all library members without waitlists or holds.

On October 23rd and 24th, Chestermere Public Library will celebrate technology with activities for all ages.

On both days, we will have a variety of eReaders on display for people to try out. You can also bring in your own eReader and ask staff questions.

For young children, Friday morning’s storytime will feature animated picture books.

The Chestermere Public Library, Primary Care Network and Chestermere Walks have partnered to offer this 6 week walk & talk program. We started Wednesday, September 17 at 7:00pm, and have been having a great time walking along the lake. The third session, on Wednesday Oct 1 will feature a life coach doing a short talk and then we will head out for a  walk.
