TAL: The Alberta Library

You may also place special requests for items not available in TRAC (the network of libraries our website requests items through). With your library card, you can place special requests for items from participating universities, colleges and special libraries throughout the province. If an item you are requesting is not available through our website, you can search The Alberta Library. You card use your Library card to place a special request.

If the Chestermere Public Library is able to provide you with the item you are looking for, you will see a message that reads:

"This item appears to be available at your local library.
Please place a hold at your local library instead of an interlibrary loan request."

If you see this, please be sure to click on the big blue button that reads:

"Continue to your local library"

Once your book arrives, we will notify you that it is ready for pick-up. Once you are finished with borrowed materials, you may conveniently return them to any participating library.
