The AGM is an opportunity for me to thank everyone who has supported Chestermere Public Library in some way over the past year. Each and every person who walks through the front doors has helped to make our library special and a significant part of our community. Many thanks go to all the local businesses and their staff who have come up trumps whenever asked and also to our LIONS group and to the schools, particularly the High School music department.
As the saying goes “there are too many to mention individually here” but a big THANK YOU to you all.
This is also a time to ask for more involvement: Board members and Foundation members are needed. If you know someone who has been “sitting on the fence”, please suggest to them that they contact us to find out what they can do. Three new board members joined the Library Board, as will Councillor Davies in January, replacing Councillor Steeves who has been on our board since the library opened in 2007. Many thanks Chris for all your time and input. We look forward to you reading at the Storytime sessions.
For me personally, some of this year’s highlights included:
Please let us know what your highlights have been and what you would like to see in the future.
Kudos goes to the wonderful staff who put so much of themselves into making a terrific library.
